Many of us hate it.
Some things seem to take forever to happen,
kind of like watching a pot of water, waiting for it to boil.

Anxiety becomes your best friend.
What will the doctor say?
Waiting.
Excitement.
Impatience.
You want to rush time.
You are giddy.
You can’t wait to adopt that new kitten!

Hunger pangs become noisy.
You anticipate the flavor of the food in your mouth.
What’s for supper today?

When will your name be called?
When will your time be up?
