The one thing I like about having my own author website is the freedom I have when it comes to blogging. I like that I can simply write about whatever I want. Today’s post will be short and sweet, as I have three announcements.
1. Production of Letters to Julian is Delayed
Today’s true tale is that my book, Letters to Julian, has been delayed. Originally, I had hoped for it to be out by Christmas 2014.
That’s not gonna happen.
But my excuses are good ones! 😉
I’ve been busy dealing with some health issues, some family issues, and, of course, lately, I’ve been grieving.
However, the past week or so has found me feeling a bit better. My head is finally screwed on straight again.
I’ve decided not to rush Letters to Julian. I will finish it when I finish it, whenever that may be. Because I’m a new author, still getting the hang of this whole self-publishing thing, I don’t have millions of people counting on me to release it by a certain date. So I’m not going to sweat it. I’ll get around to finishing it, eventually.
In the meantime, I have a few other things brewing.
2. A Book Giveaway
I’m going to be doing a book giveaway, right here on Laying It Out There.
The book that will be given away is a copy of The Black Fountaing Goddess. More details will follow, along with a review of this book (yes, by yours truly), sometime next week.
3. A Blogging-Tip Video Tutorial
I also just finished making a video that deals with a blogging tip, for one of my author friends. (She knows who she is.)
The great thing about the video, however, is that it consists of a simple blogging tip that will change the way you blog forever. (Well, it will, if you don’t already know about this tip!)
