Bear With Me As My Blog Changes. Also, PLEASE GIVE ME FREE EBOOK IDEAS!

Wording Well logo WITHOUT A TAGLINE

As a result of doing a total overhaul on Wording Well, beginning with my tagline, which will be happening over the next few weeks, I’m also doing a bit of revamping of this blog’s theme, yet again. Bear with me as my blog changes!

It’s tough doing everything when you’re a one-woman show running a business! I think I need to hire help!

Plus, I’m sick again. Geez. Life is not easy these days.

The freezing temperatures in this city are making me want to move. If I didn’t have family here, I’d be gone in a heartbeat!

FREE EBOOK?

I also would like to know what type of ebook would be good to give away on this site.

If you have any suggestions, please share them in the comments. Thanks!

So far a book of short stories has been suggested. I’m thinking of maybe a collection of paragraphs that could be developed into stories (I have a lot of those!).

What do you think would be best?

I know what you mean about changing your theme. It reallys messing everything up and then it doesn’t look like you thought it would. Anyway, I’m partial to short stories or novellas, but a “complete how-to” of some type of technology is also good.

Jo Ann, what kind of “how-to” book would YOU like to have? What do you need to learn?

I might end up doing a blog post instead for that topic, if you let me know what you need!

      Thanks for your input! 🙂

    Hi Lorraine,
    Nice to be here again,
Good to know about the new development at your page and the upcoming plans with the ebook etc. Good i think, i suggest to go ahead with the stock available with you, I mean the para business converting into mini and short stories. Good Idea.
    Waiting for the same
    Have a great time ahead.
    Good wishes

I’m also rethinking my blog theme – yet again. It’s not easy since I like to right about whatever. Giveaways are great, as long as one has the time to read. And, as long as they are dynamic, offering something new, even if presented in a different way. I’m into short stories and wouldn’t mind an ebook on that.

Jeralyn, I think you meant you like to “write” about whatever… Right? 😉

Yes, I agree with you about giveaways!

A big thing that would be wonderful for an ebook might be about siting sources or images used in content and article writing? Also, that imperative first line/scene/chapter of fictional pieces is a stumbling block for me. Hope these suggestions help!

Emily, as this is my “author” site, I think a collection of “story starts” would be a good idea for a free ebook. Would this type of book help you? (It sounds like it might…)

Yes, that is what I was thinking. An eBook with great examples of first sentences or paragraphs that grab a reader or foreshadow the coming plot points would be awesome!

Emily, I can do that. I have TONS of stories started… and abandoned. I also have a few very short stories, too, so I’ll put them all together into an ebook. Thanks for the feedback! 🙂

Christy, thanks for the compliment! I have been meaning to send you that email, too. Ugh. I’m actually working on a similar post for Sylviane Nucci, for her site. I’m off to email you now!

      I love butterflies… and colours! 🙂
